Visual templates for the demonstration of simple equations
can be easily created using Inspiration® software.
With the click of a mouse, you can choose alternate symbols
to create new equations for young students.
N.B.-Inspiration® software can also import other symbols to
help you create your own library of visual tools to "inspire"
even the most hesitant of learners.

Using
Inspiration® software to Visually demonstrate
simple math to young students

Food for Thought:
Inspiration® software can even be
used by young students.
All they have to do is use the left mouse button to drag
and drop the desired symbol from the symbol palette.
Using the computer for simple math heightens the students
interest and reinforces the lesson he/she
is "experiencing"

My students and I created this diagram
together
while we were reviewing for a test. They thought it
was soooooo cool that it would turn into an outline.

"Here's an example of some material
on laser operation that I've put together for my course."
'I discovered a little trick with
equations in Inspiration®. If you use Microsoft word, and
bring up an equation box, and type in the equation, then you can copy it --
directly over into
Inspiration®. Naturally, this has its limitation in that it brings it into
Inspiration® as a
graphic -- so you can't edit it in Inspiration®. This trick works
with most other mathematics
packages also -- such as Maple, Mathcad, etc."
