Cause and Effect Diagram

When studying history, science, and social studies, students are often overwhelmed
with large amounts of seemingly irrelevant pieces of information.
A cause and effect diagram takes a central subject and uses symbols and text to
introduce major elements. Additional links present relevant details, graphically
communicating interwoven cause and effects, which probably would not be immediately
apparent to the student. Graphically organizing information makes it much easier to follow
and digest. For example, cause and effect diagrams help show the impact of multiple factors
and the dynamic relationships of events.
